Sustainability is a major topic. We want to live today and run our business in such a way that people in the future can still find nature and the environment intact. To achieve this, we aim to pay attention to the environment, the economy, and social aspects - ecological, economic and social sustainability.

Zero waste soaps

Solid shampoo and soap, like in the past? Yes, all good things eventually come back. At first, this may seem unfamiliar to you, but after a few days, you'll notice the difference. We are excited about this eco-friendly and environmentally conscious solution.

Bottle free zone

Improving the world one sip at a time. We use the already excellent Tschamin water and treat it with the unique BWT magnesium technology, enriching our tap water with valuable essential minerals supporting our daily magnesium intake. In addition, no water bottles need to be transported to us anymore, and we reduce waste with our personalized bottles.

Where does our heat come from?

Our hotel has been connected to the district heating network powered by biomass from the municipality of Tiers since 2010. This allows us to heat the entire building, including the rooms and the swimming pool. In the meantime, the network has been expanded to cover the whole village of Tiers. As a result, Tiers is one of the few municipalities supplied almost entirely with district heating - a truly innovative mountaineering village!

Where does our products come from?

We try, wherever possible, to purchase local and regional products - and preferably organic! We are still far from our goal, but the origin of our goods is already impressive: more than 40% comes from South Tyrol, as in addition to the 39.47% from the food pyramid, there is also bread from the Tiers baker, organic eggs from the Ritten, Caroma organic coffee roasted in Völs, milk from South Tyrol, and much more.
